The President
Dr. Ashamu Sewanu Fadipe
Mr. Ashamu Sewanu Fadipe, President of the Institute of Tourism and Hospitality Services, is a distinguished tourism professional, public administrator, author and educator with decades of experience in tourism and hospitality development. A former Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism and Inter-Governmental Relations and pioneer General Manager of the Lagos State Tourism Board, he has played significant roles in tourism policy, destination development and international tourism initiatives. An author of acclaimed tourism publications and participant in UNIDO/UNWTO tourism programmes, Mr. Fadipe brings a wealth of professional expertise and leadership to the Institute’s commitment to excellence in tourism and hospitality education and practice.
